Grupo Bimbo is pleased to announce the launch of the tenth edition of the Bimbo Global Race, a race that has united thousands of people in more than 20 countries with a single purpose of solidarity: to share the good.

The tenth edition will be held in person on sunday, september 28, at Plaza Barrios, in the heart of the Historic Center. Bimbo reaffirms its social commitment with this initiative, which means that for each person registered, 20 slices of bread will be donated to the Food Bank in El Salvador.

“We are very excited to celebrate the first 10 years of this great race with a cause. The Bimbo Global Race has become an event that inspires more and more people -regardless of age or whether they are professional runners or not- to join and put their grain of flour to, together, Feed a Better World”.

Besides enjoying a great race experience, with your participation you are helping to bring bread to those who need it most. That is what really makes this race special.
In this special edition, Bimbo has set out to gather more than 2,200 participants in person, with the goal of donating more than 44,000 slices of bread to the Food Bank. In this way, each registration becomes an opportunity to contribute to the welfare of those who need it most.

Throughout these 10 years, the Bimbo Global Race has established itself as much more than a sporting event, a global platform for social impact, promoting healthy lifestyle habits and community support through the power of collectivity.

“The Bimbo Global Race represents our commitment to the communities in which we operate. Not only do we promote physical activity and healthy habits, but with each registration, we transform the effort of the participants into food for those who need it most”, said Karen de Egan, Marketing Manager of Bimbo El Salvador.
