The Comisión Ejecutiva Hidroeléctrica del Río Lempa (CEL), in collaboration with the Instituto Nacional de Capacitación y Formación (INCAF), has carried out the certification of 15 collaborators, including operators and assistants of the Central Hidroeléctrica 5 de Noviembre. This certification was carried out under the Standard of Labor Competence in the Operation of Generating Units, which reinforces the technical capabilities of the professionals at the plant.
This certification process not only benefits current employees, but also prepares future operators to perform their duties optimally. This guarantees the generation of continuous and reliable energy, a fundamental aspect for the country’s energy development.
To date, a total of 32 operators have been certified at the five power generation plants managed by CEL. This figure reflects the institution’s commitment to training and updating personnel, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to meet the challenges of the energy sector.
This focus on training and certification is key to maintaining the highest levels of efficiency in CEL’s operations. Thanks to these initiatives, clean and sustainable energy continues to be generated, benefiting more than 2 million users in El Salvador and contributing to the environmental and social well-being of the country.
