Inversiones Cuscatlán Centroamérica, a leading investor in the regional financial sector and main shareholder of SISA Seguros, the number one insurance company in El Salvador, announces the purchase of up to 90% of the shares of Aseguradora Confío S.A. in Guatemala. This acquisition represents a significant step in the regionalization strategy of Inversiones Cuscatlán, reinforcing its deep commitment to the development of Central America and its desire to provide the best insurance products and quality customer service in Guatemala.
At this stage, Aseguradora Confío will continue to operate as it has been doing. The current conditions of customers’ insurance contracts will remain unchanged, guaranteeing the continuity and stability of the service they know and trust. In the coming months, Aseguradora Confío S.A. will change its name to SISA Seguros, a process of which clients and intermediaries will be kept informed every step of the way.
