The Fundación Rafael Meza Ayau (FRMA) celebrated this tuesday the PONGO Summit 2025, a commemorative event for the two years of the PONGO platform, the first in El Salvador specialized in connecting knowledge and opportunities to strengthen social impact.

This achievement was possible thanks to the trust and support of Asesuisa, Crecer and Aracari Studios, official sponsors of PONGO. In addition, the “PONGO Líder del Impacto Social 2025” recognition was sponsored by Fundación TCS, in the category of Social Organizations, and FUNDEMAS, in the category of Corporate Sustainability.

Since its launch in 2023, PONGO has articulated people, organizations and causes in a digital environment that promotes collaboration, learning, and social transformation. In the first half of 2025 alone, the platform tripled its user base and doubled its content, reaching more than 4,200 users, 7,800 available resources and nearly 900,000 accumulated visits.

“PONGO was born with the conviction that knowledge and opportunities should be available to those who want to generate social impact. Today, the platform has established itself as a bridge that connects knowledge, tools and people committed to transforming realitie”, said Carla Meyer, executive director of FRMA.

During the PONGO Summit 2025, a full day of activities aimed at strengthening the social impact ecosystem took place. The event brought together actors from various sectors through conferences, dialogue spaces and presentations of innovative projects. Each component of the program sought to make experiences visible, connect initiatives and promote new forms of collaboration to transform realities.

The event reaffirmed PONGO as a key space for professionalizing purposeful work, fostering alliances and strengthening the country’s social ecosystem.
