After 12 years of implementation in Latin America, the Solve for Tomorrow (SFT) program reaffirms its positive impact on the region’s youth. Today, just weeks after the idea submission phase for the 2025 edition, Samsung Electronics recognizes the key factors that explain its success in the participants.
Some of these factors include a social vocation to create solutions for their communities, optimism, and determination to apply and participate in this program, and talent, perseverance, and hard work to create projects based on the knowledge and training received from SFT.

From this perspective, Solve for Tomorrow, Samsung’s global social responsibility program, celebrates its mobilization in 22 Latin American countries and praises the drive of students. from Barbados, Belize, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, and Venezuela, to align with one of SFT’s philosophical foundations: innovation with purpose.
SFT is an educational initiative with significant impact and growth in Latin America, impacting more than half a million students. In Central America and the Caribbean, a significant increase in participation has been reported, reaching more than 13,000 students and teachers each year.
This result illustrates the receptiveness, enthusiasm, and confidence that this Samsung Electronics program generates in the region, as an attractive platform for new generations eager for resources, preparation, and strategies to act for the benefit of their communities.

This year, approximately 10,000 young people and teachers from public schools in Central American and Caribbean countries, among others, participated in training sessions in the first phase of SFT 2025, to learn Design Thinking tools that promote the effective formulation of innovative solutions.
Particularly in the most recent annual editions of SFT, there is one common thread that deserves to be highlighted: themes such as environmental sustainability, social inclusion, community health, and citizen security prevail in most of the approaches and beneficiaries that the participating youth select for their projects.
Samsung’s commitment to Latin American youth empowerment grows each year with this and other educational programs as part of its corporate citizenship strategy, always with the vision of fostering the role of agents of change in this segment of the population who, from their communities, build a better tomorrow through talent, education, and a vocation for service.
