As part of the commitment of the Government of El Salvador with the modernization and strengthening of digital capabilities in the public sector, the Vice President of the Republic, Felix Ulloa h., visited the offices of Applaudo to learn about its innovation ecosystem, its team of professionals and the spaces where cutting-edge technological solutions are developed.
During the tour, the Vice President met with the Applaudo team and explored the Training Center facilities, a space designed for specialized training in technology, as well as its Cyber Defense Center, from where cybersecurity services are offered to companies and institutions in the country and the world. In this context, the strategic alliance to be developed between Applaudo and ESIAP, an institution of the Vice Presidency responsible for the training of civil servants and public officials in key areas for the digital transformation of the State, under the mandate of President Nayib Bukele, was presented.
Starting in 2025, this partnership will be implemented through the GovTech academy, which will offer a comprehensive training program for public officials and civil servants in various modalities, combining online classes with face-to-face sessions at the Applaudo Training Center. Among the topics to be addressed are artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cloud computing, cybersecurity and data analytics, designed to benefit both civil servants and public officials as well as specialized and leadership profiles within the government sector.
“The digital transformation of the public sector is essential to continue modernizing services for the benefit of the salvadoran population. An example of this is the alliance established with Google Cloud and President Bukele for the digital transformation of the country. Now, this alliance with Applaudo will allow us to provide cutting-edge knowledge and tools to our public servants and prepare them for the challenges of the future”, said the Vice President of the Republic, Mr. Felix Ulloa h.
César Bendeck, CEO of Applaudo, highlighted the fundamental role of the company in the digital transformation of the country. “At Applaudo, we are committed to accompanying public institutions in their modernization process, providing specialized training to officials and facilitating the implementation of high-impact projects. Through our alliance with Google Cloud and the Government of El Salvador, we are developing technological solutions that improve the experience of citizens and optimize public services. Digital transformation is not just a concept, it is a reality that we are building together”, he said.
With this joint effort, Applaudo and ESIAP reaffirm their commitment to innovation, training and digital transformation as pillars for the country’s development.
