Walmart El Salvador invites its customers and families to participate in the Festival Tierra Fértil, which will take place next saturday, october 18th and sunday, october 19th, at the Despensa de Don Juan Escalón Norte.

During this festival, attendees will be able to learn about and taste a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables grown and harvested in El Salvador. The event seeks to highlight the quality of local products and bring salvadoran families closer to the work of farmers, whose efforts contribute to the well-being of the national economy.

The Tierra Fértil program is one of Walmart’s main initiatives to promote the development of salvadoran producers. Through training, technical advice, and support in food safety and quality processes, participating farmers can diversify their crops, optimize their resources, and improve their productivity.

Thanks to this joint effort, local producers can offer their crops in various Walmart stores across the country, guaranteeing customers fresh, safe, and reliable food.
“At Walmart Centroamérica , we firmly believe in the transformative power of local agriculture. With the Festival Tierra Fértil, we seek to celebrate the efforts of our salvadoran producers, bring families closer to the freshness of the countryside, and reaffirm our commitment to being a strategic partner in the development of their communities”, said Katherine Jiménez, SME Program, Corporate Affairs Central America.

Festival Tierra Fértil activities:
• A practical and healthy cooking class led by a guest chef, featuring recipes made with local products.
• Fruit and vegetable tastings, highlighting the freshness and flavor of the salvadoran countryside.
