The new benchmark in private healthcare in the “Morena City” is the first of its kind and opened its doors, setting a new standard in private healthcare in the western part of the country.
With an investment of more than US$4 million between its own funds and financing from Banco CUSCATLAN, Áltimo Medical Center has been designed to respond to the growing demand for elective surgeries and first-class private hospital services.

“We have been working since 2022 on this idea, which is now taking shape. Our medical center has been designed to provide the best care, with high levels of quality and services that are comparable to those in more developed countries”, said Dr. Salvador Rodríguez, President of the investment company.
The business model is based on four strategic pillars: warmth and medical service with human quality, investment in technology with modern equipment, highly trained professionals, and comfortable facilities that guarantee safety for both patients and surgeons.

“At Banco CUSCATLAN, we strive to responsibly create value for our clients and our country. Financing this type of project reaffirms this vision, as by supporting investors with the capital necessary for the operation of this first-class medical center, we are contributing to providing access to better living conditions for families in the western region of our country”, said Patricia de Fuentes, Commercial Banking Manager at Banco CUSCATLAN.

The impact of this new medical center transcends the healthcare sector to the economic sphere: 1,700 temporary jobs were created during construction, and with the start of operations at Áltimo Medical Center, nearly 60 permanent jobs have been created, with a multiplier effect for the various medical supply suppliers, contributing to the economic development of the region.

“Áltimo Medical Center has the latest medical technology, as well as staff who have undergone training to provide humane care to our patients”, said Dr. Christian Hernández, the hospital’s Medical Director. The center features a clinical laboratory, a pre-hospital care area, three fully equipped operating rooms, and 21 rooms designed for patient comfort. A new phase of expansion is planned.
