Puma Energy is distinguished in El Salvador for being at the forefront; as part of its environmental protection policy, it will venture into the generation of photovoltaic energy, for which it has placed solar panels in different stations, as well as strategically allied with BMW, the brand of Excel El Salvador, to install electric charging points for vehicles, with the primary objective of contributing to the care and protection of the planet.
With the initiative, solar panels were placed on the roofs of 25 service stations nationwide, as well as the strategic alliance with the prestigious BMW brand, placing electric charging points for hybrid and electric vehicles, free of charge, in five service stations: Puma Madre Selva (Carretera Panamericana and Boulevard Santa Elena, Antiguo Cuscatlán), Puma San Antonio Abad (Prolong. Alam. Juan Pablo II and Blvd. Constitución), Puma Escalón (Paseo General Escalón and 73 Avenida Norte), Puma Santa Elena (Carretera Panamericana and Boulevard Santa Elena), and Shell Via del Mar (Km 12 1/2, Carretera al Puerto de la Libertad).
“We are pleased to announce that 25 Puma Energy service stations in El Salvador now have solar panels, as part of the objectives established to reduce carbon emissions and contribute positively to environmental protection. In addition, with the support of the BMW vehicle brand, we have placed “electric points” at two of our stations, where you can charge your vehicle (hybrid or electric) safely and conveniently. With this, we confirm our commitment to always serve you with quality, to energize your journey”, said Ana María Vicente, Commercial Director of Puma El Salvador.
The BMW Brand Manager, Daniel Armando Magaña, said that this strategy contributes to salvadorans, owners of electric and hybrid vehicles, from the creation of spaces to charge energy in easily accessible and safe places. The BMW brand will soon be placing 18 more points in the country, 2 more in Puma Energy service stations. “We trust in the quality of Puma Energy fuels for the care of our engines and in its service stations, to provide attention and accessibility to the users of the charging points, which, together, we have placed for their benefit”.
In this way, Puma Energy in El Salvador ratifies its efforts to care for the environment, providing wellbeing to salvadorans by providing them with complete, comfortable and safe service stations that, in addition to offering high quality products and services, are distinguished by seeking to save energy, not only in consumption but also in creation, including projects that benefit society in their daily operations.
“In the continuous search to benefit our customers, we implement projects that are undoubtedly of great benefit to the community. We will continue to expand the installation of solar panels, always seeking to provide each visit with the service that distinguishes us. We project ourselves into the future with the continuity of our efforts as a responsible company in the societies where we operate”, concluded Ana Maria Vicente, Commercial Director of Puma El Salvador.
During your visit to the service stations, you will find Super7 Convenience Stores and Shell Café, where you can enjoy a snack or make a basic purchase, especially in the stations that have “electric points” where you can wait for your vehicle to charge, while you enjoy some of the varied options they offer.
