Within the framework of the program Emprendedores La Constancia Progresando Juntos, a group of shop owners will be receiving classes with the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, one of the most prestigious universities in Mexico and Latin America, to receive a certification in entrepreneurship appropriate for the type of business of the entrepreneurs who are part of La Constancia.
The group is made up of 25 shop owners who were selected for their entrepreneurial characteristics, to take classes for 1 year, in which experts will be teaching a program segmented into modules that cover the knowledge necessary to be able to successfully manage a business.
“This is one more support that we are providing to a group of clients who own shops in different neighborhoods at the metropolitan level so that they can train in a prestigious educational institution such as the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey and can grow and develop their businesses as entrepreneurs. At La Constancia we have the principle that “We grow with our clients” and through this certification today we fulfill that objective”, says Javier Benavides, manager of Sustainability and Reputation at La Constancia.
As they advance, the participants will take different courses that will earn them micro certificates in Basic Marketing and Digital Skills, and finally, obtain the Business Entrepreneurship certificate.
The participants were also provided with a computer, software and computers to continue their studies that they began last september.
Clients are part of the “Entrepreneurs La Constancia, Progressing Together” Program, in which they also receive support in the areas of infrastructure, digitalization through the BEES platform where they place their orders, credits, market-place, and training.
In this way, La Constancia is taking steps toward the transformation of its business model, integrating innovation, but maintaining support for its chain of entrepreneurs associated with the operation that has more than 100 years of impact on development in El Salvador.
