El Salvador has experienced a historic holiday season. As of august 2, more than 961,000 people have visited the country’s various destinations, a figure that, according to Tourism Minister Morena Valdés, exceeds previous year’s projections. This notable growth reflects visitors’ confidence in salvadoran tourism.

Valdés also reported that 52% of the season’s target for foreign visitors has been reached, with more than 41,000 tourists coming primarily from the United States and Guatemala. Additionally, 2.6 million people have traveled throughout the country, reflecting the large influx of tourists to tourist sites.
To ensure the peace and safety of the population and visitors, the government has deployed all its first response teams nationwide. Professionals from Protección Civil, Policía Nacional Civil, VMT and Fuerza Armada have been on alert to provide timely assistance.

The Vacation Plan has transformed places like Sivarland into havens of fun, supported by a robust security system that allows families to relax and enjoy themselves. Visitors have been able to enjoy a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere throughout all the activities and festivities.

El Tunco Beach has been a clear example of this success, attracting many people thanks to its surfing culture and welcoming atmosphere. Under the President’s management, security has allowed both nationals and foreigners to confidently enjoy the vibrant, lively nights of the area.
