For the fifteenth consecutive year, Bancoagrícola has been recognized by the Asociación Salvadoreña de Industriales (ASI) as the bank that most supports the country’s industrial sector. This recognition reaffirms its commitment to El Salvador’s economic development by providing comprehensive financial solutions that strengthen companies that generate employment, innovation, and progress.
During 2024, Bancoagrícola disbursed more than US$500 million in productive loans, benefiting companies in strategic sectors such as agribusiness, manufacturing, food, beverages, textiles, and construction materials. This amount represents a 13% increase compared to the previous year, reflecting the business sector’s confidence in the institution.

“This recognition deeply honors us because it reflects the impact we seek to make in the country: supporting those who produce, innovate, and create jobs. We thank ASI for this distinction, which motivates us to continue working with even greater commitment. At Bancoagrícola, we believe that sustainable development begins in communities, and that is why we work to ensure our solutions reach those most needed. Supporting Salvadoran companies also means supporting the well-being of thousands of families”, said Rafael Barraza, CEO of Bancoagrícola.
The bank has consolidated a value proposition that goes beyond financing. It offers specialized advice, digital tools such as e-business banking, and a clear focus on sustainability. All of this with a common purpose: promoting collective well-being.
“Our purpose is to promote sustainable development to achieve the well-being of all. This can only be achieved when we listen to, understand, and act alongside those who drive the country’s economy. Thank you to ASI for this recognition, to our clients, and also to our team for making it possible”, said Ana Cristina Arango, Vice President of Business and Government at Bancoagrícola.
The Vice President also highlighted the fundamental role of the specialized teams that support companies at every stage of their growth: “This achievement also belongs to the team that supports our clients every day. Every person who listens, proposes, and acts with empathy and knowledge has made this recognition a reality. We are inspired by knowing that our work has a tangible impact on communities, on jobs that are maintained, on businesses that grow, on companies that reach new milestones, and on families that find new opportunities. Thank you for making this possible”, she said.
With more than 3,000 committed employees, Bancoagrícola continues to be a strategic ally for Salvadoran companies. Its humane, friendly, and consistent approach positions it as a key player in the country’s transformation.
