Through the Mesa de Casos Colectivos, approximately US$46.2 million has been recovered, positively impacting thousands of salvadoran families. This initiative, led by the Ministry of Housing, demonstrates a determined focus on resolving problems inherited from previous administrations.
According to the Minister of Housing, Michelle Sol, cases such as ARGOZ reflect the lack of political will and complicity of past governments in dealing with problems that affected hundreds of families.
“We are bringing justice to all the families who were cheated”, he said, highlighting the current administration’s commitment to the most vulnerable sectors.
These actions not only represent significant economic relief for the affected families, but also strengthen confidence in public institutions. The recovered funds will allow investment in social programs, improving access to decent housing and basic services.
The Mesa de Casos Colectivos has also become an example of inter-institutional work. Coordination between the Ministry of Housing and other public entities has been key to provide timely response to citizens and ensure that the recovered resources are used for the benefit of all.
This effort reaffirms the Government’s commitment to social justice and the welfare of the population. The recovery of these US$46.2 million marks an important step towards the solution of historical problems and consolidates the path towards a more equitable and supportive country.
