Minister Castro assured that 100% of the attendees will be guaranteed a job opportunity according to their profile. “These are formal, dignified and decent jobs, which comply with all labor rights”, he emphasized. The strategy seeks not only to reduce unemployment, but also to formalize the economy and improve the living conditions of the population, especially those who lacked a stable job.
The call, aimed at salvadorans in search of opportunities, is active from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the offices of the Ministry of Labor. Participants receive personalized advice on available vacancies in sectors such as industry, services and commerce, as well as support to apply according to their skills and previous experience.

This initiative is part of the government’s plan to reactivate the economy and reduce employability gaps. According to Castro, the high attendance reflects the urgency of generating more jobs in a context of growing demand, marked by the post-pandemic recovery and the need for labor inclusion.
The government stressed that the success of the call consolidates its commitment to prioritize decent employment as the axis of development. “We are transforming the labor market: more inclusive, fairer and with opportunities for all”, concluded the Minister, reaffirming his goal of combating unemployment and informality from effective public policies.
