dinero_admin As part of the inter-institutional cooperation agreement established between the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores and the Fondo Solidario para la Familia y la Microempresa (FOSOFAMILIA) a workshop was held to provide access to financial services and products to a group of returned women in the department of Morazán.
Thus, the credit line called “Reintégrate” has been created, which aims to benefit returned migrants and people at risk of migrating irregularly, facilitating access to financial products that allow them to develop their enterprises in the country.
During the event, the group of women who participated learned about the requirements and viability of the line, which is aimed at granting loans at preferential rates.
The project creates a banking access mechanism to support not only entrepreneurs, but also those who have a business idea and need financing from US$100 and up.
In addition, training and financial education talks were held in this space, within the framework of the Financial Education Program implemented by FOSOFAMILIA, with the purpose of raising awareness among the micro-entrepreneurial population on the proper use of their finances. This activity was supported by the Instituto Salvadoreño para el Desarrollo de la Mujer (ISDEMU).
During the event, Lucía Ramos, one of the beneficiaries, expressed her satisfaction, since the institutions involved seek to approach their territories to provide this type of support.
