The Ministry of Finance, through the General Directorate of Internal Taxes (DGII), has announced the extension of the opening hours at the Express Attention Centers to facilitate the process of filing the Income Tax Return 2024. This measure seeks to provide greater convenience to taxpayers and ensure that all comply with their tax obligations within the established deadline.

During march 2025, from march 17 to 31, the centers will be open continuously from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In april, from april 1 to 29, the same schedule will be maintained, with an exception on saturday, april 26, when service will be from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In addition, on wednesday, april 30, the last day of the period, extended hours will be offered until midnight to facilitate the filing of tax returns.
With these modifications, the Treasury seeks to avoid crowds and offer taxpayers more opportunities to comply with their tax obligations. The population is advised to take advantage of the extended hours and not to leave their tax returns until the last minute, thus avoiding possible setbacks.
