More than US$375,000 in loans were delivered to veterans, ex-combatants and people with disabilities resulting from the armed conflict. The funds are part of the Credit Program of the Instituto Administrador de los Beneficios de los Veteranos y Excombatientes (INABVE). The delivery took place in the district of Apopa, San Salvador Oeste.
The President of INABVE, Juan Ortiz, emphasized that these funds seek to provide access to better economic opportunities.

He explained that the loans are granted at lower interest rates than those of the traditional financial system, facilitating access to resources to meet personal and family needs.


The mayor of San Salvador Oeste, José Urbina, pointed out that more than US$8 million in loans have already been granted to this sector. According to Urbina, this type of support strengthens the family economy and allows beneficiaries to improve their financial stability.

Since its launch, the program has benefited thousands of salvadorans. In a year and a half, the investment has exceeded US$8.2 million, enabling veterans and former combatants to access essential resources for their development.

The authorities assured that they will continue to promote this type of initiative. The objective is to generate a sustainable impact, improve the quality of life of the beneficiaries, and strengthen their participation in the country’s economy.
