The historic center of San Salvador is undergoing an unprecedented transformation thanks to a strategic vision of recovery. In this context, Maestro Taquero, the first branch of a new gastronomic brand, was inaugurated. The investment in this project exceeds US$87,000 and has generated more than 25 jobs.

This is the result of the coordinated support of institutions such as APLAN, which seek to attract new investments and strengthen national entrepreneurship. In this sense, the project fuses the best of mexican cuisine with salvadoran talent. This innovative concept provides culinary diversity and generates opportunities for professionals.

This impulse has been key for new ventures to bet on the center of the capital, as it has become the second most visited destination in the country. The influx of people and the favorable environment open opportunities for private investment and commerce.

The head of MITUR El Salvador, Morena Valdez, said that conditions are being arranged to support investors. Around 90 thousand international visitors are expected for the week of august. During Holy Week there were 700 thousand national and international visitors.

The Director of APLAN, Adriana Larín, commented that the accompaniment has been personalized. We are proud that more Salvadorans are joining this reactivated space. The opening of Maestro Taquero is an example of the multiplying effect of the government’s actions. This emblematic area has left behind abandonment to become a development pole in which the economy is invigorated, tourism is boosted and culture is strengthened.
