The Fundación Rafael Meza Ayau (FRMA), in partnership with AGRISAL through its Plaza Mundo brand, and with the support of key players in the region, held the first edition of ApopaMarket, an initiative that is part of the Alto Impacto Apopa Project, whose objective is to boost the local economy by strengthening micro-entrepreneurs in the municipality.

Over two days, eleven salvadoran entrepreneurs had the opportunity to showcase and sell their products in a high-traffic environment, positioning Plaza Mundo Apopa as a strategic space for sustainability and income generation in the area.

“At the Fundación Rafael Meza Ayau, we firmly believe in the power of entrepreneurship to transform communities. Thanks to the partnership with AGRISAL and its Plaza Mundo brand, ApopaMarket has become a valuable space for showcasing and strengthening local talent. This first edition reaffirms our commitment to initiatives that boost the municipality’s economy and generate real opportunities for its inhabitants”, said Karen Massana, Project and Social Training manager at the Fundación Rafael Meza Ayau.

The event was attended by representatives from FRMA, AGRISAL, and local partners, who reiterated their commitment to promoting sustainable economic development in Apopa.

The Apopa High Impact Project, which has been running since 2024, includes strategic interventions that strengthen the local economy, create real opportunities for entrepreneurs, and have a positive impact on the transformation of the municipality.
