El Salvador hosted the SABIC 2025 congress, organized by the Escuela Abierta de Desarrollo de Ingeniería y Construcción, EADIC. This meeting brought together the main leaders of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry to share new trends and digital transformation of the sector.

SABIC brought together different leaders, directors, and entrepreneurs from the public and private sectors, as well as trade unions and students from different academies in the country.
This congress was attended by experts from the national sector, as well as, international, who shared from their trenches about the sustainable future, artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation and BIM. Among them:


Morena Valdez, minister of Tourism of El Salvador, Romeo Herrera, Minister of Public Works, Rafel Tobar, Director of the Colegio de Arquitectos (CADES), Diana Guerra, member of the Board of Directors of CADES, Cristina Morataya, CEO of Vekpower S.A de C.V., David Quintanilla, CTO of Outside Tech, Carlos Castro, vice president of BIM FORUM El Salvador, Víctor Guevara, BIM manager at Qualicons and member of BIM FORUM El Salvador, Juan Erick Díaz, member of the board of directors of the Instituto Salvadoreño de la Construcción, Eduardo Stéfano Ramírez, BIM project coordinator of the Project Management Unit of the Ministry of Health, Melvin Ernesto Rubio, BIM manager VIELCA INGENIEROS Internacional, Brigitte Montesinos, technical sales representative and Michelle Argueta, business advisor building at HOLCIM, as well as Ricardo Carramiñana, CEO and founder of EADIC.

SABIC has developed successful previous editions in Santo Domingo, Lima, Bogota, Mexico City and Madrid in 2024 and Panama City, Tegucigalpa, Medellin and El Salvador in 2025.

The congress was not only a learning space, but a meeting for professionals in the AEC industry in the country, which laid the groundwork for different companies, leaders, and future professionals to adopt a more innovative, collaborative, and sustainable approach to build a better El Salvador.
