Financial education is fundamental for people to better understand their personal finances and improve their relationship with money. For this reason, Bancoagrícola launched the Content Hub, the first content creation event in the country, to promote financial education through the creativity of young salvadorans.
“We are celebrating the first Bancoagrícola Content Hub, we have invited more than 100 young salvadorans to learn more about the bank and we have opened the doors to learn how we collaborate for the future and progress of the country. In this space we want them to be the ones to talk about financial education, to learn how to find their objectives and how to reach those goals, as well as about professional opportunities and financial products that allow young people to become financially integrated in El Salvador, and that together we can make our beloved country grow”, said Rafael Barraza, Executive President of Bancoagrícola.
For the bank, young people are key to making El Salvador grow, and that is why it is so important for them to participate in different spaces where they can share their voice and ideas to continue transforming the way things are done.
That is why, during the visit, they also received talks and training on personal branding and content creation in social networks. They also learned how the bank is constantly evolving and transforming; which is why their contributions as new generations are important.
“Opening the doors of the bank for us is something that excites us because it allows us to promote sustainable development to achieve the welfare of all, but we also want to bring that energy of young people, that desire and that strength to transform the country and the way we do things, to enrich ourselves with their ideas. That is why we set out to fill our Operations Center with people capable of telling stories and contributing creative ideas that help us make finance easier to understand and that together we promote sustainable development for the well-being of all”, said Alejandro Gómez Fernández, Vice President of Talent and Culture at Bancoagrícola.
The objective was to open the doors to the talent of hundreds of young content creators to the Operations Center facilities, to co-create with them and reinvent together how to talk about finance on social networks, in creative ways, that connect and excite with their followers.
“We want to bring our social networks and our brand closer to the digital communities and what better way to do this than by supporting and encouraging the creativity of these young people. For that, we prepare training spaces and tools for content creation. For example, we have the content creation booths to record videos and take pictures that they can use as resources to explore their creativity”, commented Mariana Mayorga, Head of Digital Marketing at Bancoagrícola.
Of course, the effort of the young people will be rewarded: participants will compete to create one of the three best contents and win an iPhone 15, a Samsung Galaxy A35 and a DJI Mini 2 Drone. The top three places in the contest will be announced on thursday, october 24.
From the purpose of promoting sustainable development, to achieve the welfare of all, Bancoagrícola seeks to include the voices, creativity and energy of young salvadorans celebrating the first and largest content creation event in El Salvador.
