Within the framework of the Commercial Diplomacy Strategy promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a Costa Rican business delegation is visiting El Salvador with the objective of identifying investment areas, market diversification and establishing strategic alliances. The mission was coordinated by the Embassy of El Salvador in Costa Rica and is a result of the visit of President Nayib Bukele to that country last november.

During a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adriana Mira, highlighted the interest of Costa Rican businessmen in key sectors such as tourism, trade and other areas that have grown thanks to the favorable conditions of the country. The official emphasized that the climate of security and legal stability has been decisive in attracting new investments.
The business expectations of the delegation were supported by the Cámara de Comercio de Costa Rica (CRECEX). Its president, Rodnney Salazar Campos, emphasized that the commercial relationship between both nations has grown, strengthening employment and boosting economies. Participating businessmen also highlighted the advances in security, considering them a model to follow in the region.

Laura Mora, a businesswoman in the food sector, highlighted the transformation of the salvadoran environment. This favorable environment has driven interest in several areas, including food, construction, security, plastics, health, textiles, logistics, electric mobility, and green energy.
As part of their agenda in the country, the businessmen will hold meetings with salvadoran exporters, tour free trade zones, and meet with government entities such as INVEST. These activities seek to generate concrete investment opportunities and strengthen commercial ties between both nations.

The rapprochement between the productive sectors of El Salvador and Costa Rica reinforces the vision of making the country an attractive destination for foreign investment. Economic stability and improvements in security are key factors that continue to position El Salvador as a business center in the region.
