The Ministry of Labor brought its successful Firmas Por El Empleo program to the western region of the country, holding a significant event in Santa Ana, led by Minister Rolando Castro. At the event, hundreds of salvadorans signed employment contracts, marking a new beginning for their lives and strengthening access to formal employment in the region.

The main objective of this program is to provide job opportunities for people in vulnerable situations, connecting them directly with companies that require human talent. During this event, dozens of companies joined the initiative, demonstrating the private sector’s commitment to social inclusion and economic growth.
Minister Castro emphasized that decent employment is a fundamental pillar for transforming realities and boosting the national economy. “We are here to serve the people and change lives”, he stated, reaffirming the government’s vision of building a country with greater social justice and equitable economic development.

The event was attended by the departments of Ahuachapán, Santa Ana, and Sonsonate, where citizen response was overwhelming. Local authorities also expressed their support, emphasizing that these types of programs have a direct impact on reducing unemployment and poverty.
Firmas Por El Empleo not only represents a strategy for job inclusion but also contributes to strengthening the domestic market. By creating more formal jobs, it promotes consumption and local investment, and stimulates a more dynamic and sustainable economy for all salvadorans.
