The MAG will seek to implement integrated development programs for priority populations, strengthening its focus on food security.
Martínez assured that the allocation of resources will allow MAG to cover its financial expenses for the fiscal year 2025, reaffirming the government’s commitment to the transformation of the country’s agricultural sector, emphasizing the importance of this financial support for the wellbeing of producers and the population in general.
Likewise, the MAG will focus on priority areas such as food sovereignty and security, the positioning of agricultural products in national markets, and the sustainable development of coffee growing. The promotion of new markets and the sustainable development of livestock are a fundamental part of the institutional strategy to strengthen the agricultural sector in El Salvador.
