This amount represents a year-on-year increase of more than US$1,975.4 million, marking a remarkable 8.1% growth.

This progress is a key driver of the salvadoran national economy, as the health of bank assets boosts lending capacity. Banco Agrícola leads the ranking with a total of US$6,560.1 million, accounting for 24.8% of total assets. This share distribution reflects the confidence of depositors and investors in these institutions. Banks have managed to maintain and increase their portfolio in an economic environment that demands constant adaptation and soundness.

The Asociación Bancaria Salvadoreña highlights this growth as a key indicator of financial stability. The consolidation of the main banks as pillars of the system projects an encouraging outlook. This outlook boosts the country’s economy.
