To ensure efficient service during Holy Week, the San Salvador Central Municipality has established special service hours. This applies to all users in the districts of San Salvador, Mejicanos, Cuscatancingo, Ciudad Delgado, and Ayutuxtepeque.
The Municipal Markets Administration announced that buildings 1 through 7 of the Central Market, along with the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, Belloso, Modelo, Monserrat, San Antonio, and ExCuartel markets, will be closed only on april 3, 4, and 5.
Meanwhile, building 10 of the Mercado Central, Detallista, La Tiendona, San Jacinto, and Cuscatancingo will be closed on april 3 and 4. The Mercado Tinetti, buildings 8 and 9 of the Mercado Central, the Libertad Shopping Center, the La Tiendona banana wholesale market, Placita Ciudad Delgado, and Las Colinas will be closed only on april 3. Finally, the San Ramón and Mejicanos 1 markets will close on april 4, while the Mercado Zacamil will be closed from april 2 to 4.
Taxpayers who visit the Puntos de Atención Empresarial (PAE) in Zones 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and Central, as well as the Centro de Atención Tributaria (CAT) and the Metrocentro office, will be served on saturday, march 28 (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). Additionally, on monday, march 30, and tuesday, march 31, service hours will be extended from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Registro del Estado Familiar will be open on march 30 and 31, from 8:00 a.m. From march 30 to april 6, burial and collection procedures for all Municipal Cemeteries will be centralized at the La Bermeja administrative offices from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the main offices, Metrocentro branch, Cemetery Administration offices (La Bermeja), Zones 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6, and the districts of Ayutuxtepeque, Mejicanos, Ciudad Delgado, and Cuscatancingo.
All burial and collection procedures for the Municipal Cemeteries will be centralized at the La Bermeja administrative offices from march 30th to april 6th. Office hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Municipal Funeral Home will continue operating its regular hours from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The public can call 2225-7777 or 6063-9389 for immediate assistance.
