El Salvador and Qatar have strengthened their diplomatic ties by holding the III Round of Political Dialogue at the headquarters of the Salvadoran Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This meeting was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Adriana Mira and the Secretary General of the Qatari State, Ahmad Hassen Al-Hammadi, and was attended by prominent officials from both countries.
During the meeting, El Salvador’s progress in the economic field was highlighted, highlighting its growing attractiveness as a destination for trade and investment. Both nations discussed the possibility of expanding economic exchanges through joint productive projects that could benefit their economies.
In addition, cooperation initiatives were explored in key areas such as health, education, renewable energy, environment, art and culture. These projects seek to strengthen sustainable development and quality of life in both nations.
Vice Minister Mira stressed the importance of this rapprochement, describing the relationship between El Salvador and Qatar as strategic. She also expressed confidence that this dialogue will open new opportunities to deepen cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
The Qatari representative highlighted his country’s intention to take the bilateral relationship to new levels. This includes the promotion of agreements and initiatives in key areas that strengthen ties and shared benefits between the two nations.
This meeting reaffirms the commitment of El Salvador and Qatar to strengthen their diplomatic relationship, consolidate joint work and advance a common agenda of development and strategic cooperation.
