The Government of El Salvador reinforces its commitment to continuous improvement in public administration through a strategic alliance between the Escuela Superior de Innovación en la Administración Pública (ESIAP) and the Corte de Cuentas de la República (CCR). This effort aims to provide public servants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality services to the salvadoran population.
During the formalization ceremony, presided by Vice President Félix Ulloa, it was highlighted that the Corte de Cuentas is the first public institution to establish the Public Administration Certification Program as a mandatory requirement. This program will be applied to all its collaborators and to those who aspire to be part of the entity, strengthening their technical and human capacities.
Vice President Ulloa emphasized that more than 7,000 civil servants have been trained in ESIAP and that, with the participation of CCR employees, this figure will exceed 10,000. He also said that this initiative is in line with President Nayib Bukele’s vision of raising the quality of public administration, equaling or even surpassing it in comparison with the private sector.
The certification program aims to ensure transparent, efficient and modern public management. In addition, it fosters competencies aligned with international standards, promoting excellence in public administration and directly benefiting citizens.
The event also included spaces for dialogue and exchange of experiences, in which success stories in public administration were presented. These dynamics made it possible to identify innovative methodologies and strategies to optimize public sector processes and services.
With this alliance, the Government reaffirms its commitment to modernize public administration, prioritizing quality, transparency and innovation, framed within the objectives of Plan Cuscatlán. This agreement represents an important step towards a more efficient and service-oriented government administration for the salvadoran population.
