This day, new connectivity points were installed in the central park of Ciudad Arce and in the district of Huizúcar, totaling 64 parks equipped with free, stable and high-speed internet. The Undersecretary of Innovation, Dennis Pocasangre, stressed that this effort is part of the Conectando El Salvador program, aimed at providing equal digital opportunities to the entire population.
Free connectivity enables citizens to access essential digital services, including the SimpleSV platform, which centralizes government procedures online. In addition, it fosters education and productivity by facilitating the use of training resources such as the courses offered by the Escuela Superior de Innovación y Tecnología (ESIT).

Conectando El Salvador is part of a broader vision that seeks to make technology an accessible right. Through this program, the government promotes sustainable digital development, especially in areas previously marginalized from internet access.
These actions consolidate the Bukele government’s commitment to an inclusive technological transformation, positioning El Salvador as a regional example in the use of innovation for social and economic development.
