The minister of Security, Gustavo Villatoro, accompanied by the Minister of Housing, Michelle Sol, and the minister of Education, Mauricio Pineda, delivered to the community the new and modern Educational Center of La Campanera.
The work is part of the transformation process promoted by the administration of President Nayib Bukele, reactivating and intervening areas of community interest throughout the country.
“Know that, from the Ministry of Security, with President Nayib Bukele, we will continue with great courage and bravery to eliminate all those criminal or perverse incentives, because our children deserve to live, grow and be educated in the best way”, said Minister Gustavo Villatoro.
La Campanera school center has been renovated with funds from the Ministry of Security and has a bioclimatic architecture, that is to say natural ventilation and lighting; air conditioners were installed in different areas; energy efficiency is prioritized with the installation of LED lighting and a photovoltaic system for times when there is no power.
The horizontal circulation access areas have also been improved, sanitary fixtures have been installed, the sanitary network and rainwater pipes have been replaced, a soccer field has been installed and furniture such as desks, blackboards, desks has been supplied.
“This school is for the girls and boys, they know how to value it. La Campanera school is currently the only one with air conditioning in all its classrooms”, said the minister of Security.
The minister of Education, Mauricio Pineda, highlighted the coordinated work between government institutions. More than 250 students at different levels study at La Campanera school.
