This call seeks to gather innovative proposals that promote sustainable development and regional cohesion.

The initiative is aimed at professionals, academics, researchers, and public officials of any nationality, who may submit original articles with evidence-based proposals. The objective is to generate strategic knowledge that contributes to institutional strengthening and the well-being of Central American citizens.
Papers should address structural or emerging issues from a regional perspective, proposing viable and relevant solutions that promote a transformative agenda for Central America. The articles must comply with the guidelines established in the terms and conditions published on SIECA’s official website.
The call for papers will be open from july 14 until november 1, 2025. Each author or team may submit only one paper. The three best papers will be recognized with financial prizes: US$3,000 for first place, US$2,000 for second place, and US$1,000 for third place, in addition to publication opportunities and academic benefits.
This competition is supported by strategic partners committed to sustainable development and the promotion of regional research. The awards ceremony will take place in december 2025, consolidating the CFP as a key space for the exchange of ideas and solutions for the future of Central America.
