Due to the increase in rainfall across the country and soil saturation, we inform the public that in-person classes and academic activities are suspended until further notice. Ministry of Education
This measure applies to all public schools nationwide, from Early Childhood through Secondary Education, which will have to resume virtual learning.
In this way, we ensure the well-being and safety of students, in addition to preventing tragedies from possible landslides, mudslides, overflowing rivers and ravines, among other hazards.
In the case of schools and higher education institutions, this provision is at their discretion, depending on the current level of risk and vulnerability.
Finally, we urge the educational community to seek information only through official government channels regarding any updates.
