
The Observatorio Laboral 360°, a digital platform of the Ministry of Labor that records incidents reported by companies in real time, released an update showing the geographic distribution of workplace accidents nationwide.
According to the most recent data, the department of San Salvador continues to lead the list with 63,830 accidents, representing 48.5% of all cases registered in the country. It is followed by La Libertad, with 22,741 incidents (17.28%), and Santa Ana, which reports 14,395 accidents (10.94%).

In contrast, the departments of Morazán and Cabañas show the lowest figures, with 392 (0.3%) and 495 (0.38%) accidents, respectively. Furthermore, the report indicates only two cases classified as “unspecified.”
The platform also includes an interactive map that allows for more detailed visualization of the information, facilitating analysis by department and contributing to the identification of areas with higher occupational risk.
The Ministry of Labor emphasized that the Observatorio Laboral 360°is a key tool for strengthening prevention and improving working conditions, as it offers up-to-date data that can be used by institutions, companies, and occupational safety specialists.
With more than 131,600 accidents recorded, authorities reiterated their call to strengthen prevention measures and continue reporting incidents to maintain adequate control of workplace safety in the country.
