
During the first nine months of 2025, El Salvador recorded a steady flow of family remittances, reflecting the trust and continued support of salvadorans abroad for their families.
According to the most recent data from the Banco Central de Reserva, monthly remittance inflows peaked in june 2025, at US$28.96 million, followed by march (US$25.41 million) and july (US$22.20 million).

In comparison, the first months of the year showed a sustained increase:
• January: US$12.88 million
• February: US$15.49 million
• April: US$7.54 million
• May: US$17.72 million
The positive performance of remittances maintains their fundamental role in boosting domestic consumption and strengthening the salvadoran economy, especially in households that directly depend on these incomes.
