Matchday 6 of the 2025 Apertura tournament promises exciting action, with key clashes and the indirect duel for the top spot between FAS and Luis Ángel Firpo, the only teams still undefeated and sharing the lead with 13 points. Goal difference places the Tigrillos in first place, although the Pamperos are still very close in the fight.
The action will kick off this Saturday at Estadio Cuscatlán at 5:00 p.m., with the clash between Hércules and Alianza. The black and white team arrives motivated after achieving its first victory of the season against Zacatecoluca, earning five points. The Albos, with their eyes divided between the local tournament and the Central American Cup, will seek revenge after losing in their debut against Gabriel Álvarez’s team.

At 7:00 p.m., Luis Ángel Firpo will host Fuerte San Francisco at Estadio Sergio Torres Rivera. The Pamperos, undefeated and in great offensive form, will face a rival who is coming off a draw with Águila and sits in seventh place in the standings with six points, the same as Alianza and Cacahuatique.
At the same time, CD FAS will host Zacatecoluca at the Estadio Óscar Alberto Quiteño. The outlook favors the ocelots, as the owls have had a difficult start, with just one win and four losses, keeping them in last place in the standings.
Saturday’s matchday will close at the Estadio Jorge “Calero” Suárez, where Isidro Metapán and Inter FA will play a difficult duel. The Jaguars will face their second match without a new coaching staff, while Inter FA, second-to-last in the standings, will try to earn its first win after salvaging a painful draw against Platense in the previous matchday.
Sunday’s matchday concludes with two matches: at 3:00 p.m., Águila will face Municipal Limeño at the Estadio Cuscatlán, and fifteen minutes later, in Zacatecoluca, Platense will host Cacahuatique. In both matches, the teams will look to climb the standings and gain confidence heading into the second half of the regular season.
