This morning, the Dirección de Energía, Hidrocarburos y Minas (DGEHM) continued to carry out a day of verification of fuel prices at various service stations in the country. The purpose of these inspections is to ensure that gas stations respect the established prices and correctly display the current values on their billboards and pumps.
One of the points checked was the TEXACO Buenos Aires station, located on Boulevard Los Héroes, after receiving information from citizens about a possible irregularity at pump #12. DGEHM inspectors went to the site to make sure that the correct amount of fuel was being dispensed.
To corroborate the complaint, a volumetric container was used to measure the fuel dispensed by the regular and premium gasoline and diesel oil hoses. After performing the pertinent tests, it was determined that the volume of fuel dispensed at pump #12 complies with the established parameters and shows no alterations.
The DGEHM will continue with these inspections on a regular basis, in response to citizen complaints, to ensure that all service stations in the country operate under the quality and transparency standards required by law.
