The countdown to Christmas and the end of the year has begun, and with this season comes “Black Walmart”, starting october 7th, offering irresistible prices, a wide assortment of products, excellent financing options, and total shopping convenience, whether in-store or online.

With truly attractive prices, customers of Walmart and its warehouse-style format, Maxi Despensa, can take advantage of a new season of opportunities to purchase appliances, technology, gaming gear (PlayStation and Nintendo consoles), cell phones, major appliances, toys, textiles, and general merchandise.

“With Black Walmart, we want customers to find irresistible prices across various categories, whether they are getting a head start on Christmas shopping, upgrading items at home, or picking up those gifts they still need to buy”, said Sandra Ganuza, Senior Corporate Affairs Specialist.

Black Walmart is designed as a multi-week event where customers and the public should keep a close eye on seasonal pricing and enjoy opportunities suited to every moment and every family member. Offerings range from stoves, grills, and outdoor living accessories to TVs, cell phones, and other tech items, not to mention fun for the little ones with electric or ride-on toys, as well as a varied selection of clothing for children and adults.
Via digital channels

The Black Walmart experience extends beyond physical stores. Through Walmart’s digital channels, including the app, customers can access these irresistible prices and choose the shopping method that best suits their needs: buying via mobile phone or computer, picking up their order, or having it delivered directly to their doorstep.

Additionally, those who shop online or visit the stores can take advantage of financing plans on selected products, offering up to 18 months interest-free in El Salvador, when using the Walmart-branded card.

Cardholders will receive a rebate on one installment for purchases made on an 18-month interest-free plan (restrictions apply), and can take advantage of “Savings Dates” featuring double Dólares Fáciles accumulation on specific days.

“Walmart’s purpose in Central America is to help customers save money so they can live better. Through initiatives like ‘Black Walmart,’ we offer irresistible prices designed to ease the strain on family budgets and allow for better shopping planning. This reflects our commitment to the well-being of Central American families, as we constantly seek new ways to generate savings and improve their quality of life”, said Sandra Ganuza, Senior Corporate Affairs Specialist.

The Black Walmart season runs from october 7 to november 29, 2026, across the five Central American countries.
In-store or online, it fits your budget
During this season, Central American families can also access a wide variety of electronics, such as mobile phones, computers, and televisions, as well as general merchandise and textiles, thanks to the “Precios Despensa Black” campaign in stores across El Salvador. Through the “Estrenar si te Alcanza” campaign, customers can give gifts, share, celebrate, and enjoy special moments with family and friends.

These budget-friendly prices will also be available at the 16 Maxi Despensa stores. Customers can visit their nearest store or go to maxidespensa.com.sv to check out promotions and discover everything in store for the Christmas and year-end season.

Undoubtedly, the close of the 2026 season will be full of surprises for customers at Walmart and Bodega-format stores, accompanied by excellent service, all to fulfill our purpose of helping Central American families save money so they can live better.
