El Salvador continues to strengthen connectivity with new non-stop air routes with Colombia.
These new routes will strengthen trade exchanges, improve supply chains and reduce the time in import and export transactions, promoting national economic growth through the generation of new jobs in the sectors involved.
“The opening of these new routes translates into greater and better connectivity with the world, facilitating access to new markets and destinations that promote cultural exchange, expansion of commercial operations and regional development”, said the president of CEPA.
With these new connections, the country will receive a positive impact that will further boost the economy, mainly in the consumer, hospitality, and restaurant sectors, among others.
So far this year, more than 4.2 million passengers have flowed through El Salvador’s International Airport, representing an increase of 22% compared to the same period in 2023. This would not have been possible without the security policies and actions that have been implemented by the Government of President Nayib Bukele.
