The Tribunal Supremo Electoral (TSE) is in the first stage of the Salvadoran Electoral Cycle, that is, the planning of the Plan General de Elecciones 2027 (PLAGEL), marking a crucial step in the organization of the next elections for Deputies of the Legislative Assembly and Municipal Councils that will take place in the great Electoral Party of february 28, 2027.

Structure of the PLAGEL 2027
The different units that are part of the TSE present the details of the 46 programs that will integrate the PLAGEL 2027, which is composed as follows:

- 24 programs for suffrage in national territory: focused on the Electoral Calendar that include logistics, technology, training, and security.
- 22 programs for voting abroad: Aimed at guaranteeing the right to vote of the Salvadoran diaspora, with emphasis on accessibility and transparency.

Following the conclusion of the presentations, the Collegiate Body will conduct the formal review and approval of each of the programs and their associated budget. This process will ensure that the PLAGEL 2027 complies with the legal and operational requirements necessary for its successful implementation.
