n1co, the regional fintech leader in digital payment solutions, and the Cámara Salvadoreña de Tecnologías de Información y Comunicaciones (CasaTIC) signed an agreement that will allow CasaTIC to transfer travel expenses quickly, safely and efficiently to young scholarship recipients who are being trained in software programming and technology in proximity centers throughout the country, in order to improve their employment opportunities.

Thanks to this alliance, the young beneficiaries, including returned migrants, mothers who are heads of household and others in vulnerable situations, will receive their daily allowances through the n1co card. This will allow them to cover expenses such as transportation and food every time they attend classes. In addition, they will be able to take advantage of extra benefits such as cashback, keep track of their expenses from the app and receive financial tips designed for their daily lives.
“We want young people not only to be trained to enter the technology sector, but also to become financially empowered. This alliance with n1co allows them to do both in a practical and safe way”, said Mirian Alas Escobedo, Vice President of CasaTIC.
This effort is part of the LAMARR Project, which CasaTIC executes together with Expertise France, with funds from the European Union, and seeks not only to train young talent, but also to make it available to the national technological ecosystem, while providing them with direct financial support during their training.

“We are excited to be part of this initiative. At n1co we are convinced that financial services should be available to everyone, especially to those who face the most barriers. If with our technology these young people can receive their allowances easily, learn how to manage their money and get cashback, then we are fulfilling our mission”, said José María Caballero, Regional Director of Consumer Solutions n1co
Beyond the impact on the beneficiaries, the model also offers a modern approach to the management of cooperation funds: security, traceability and speed, without friction.
With this alliance, n1co and CasaTIC unite technology, inclusion and purpose, generating real opportunities for a new generation of digital talent in El Salvador.

n1co is a fintech committed to financial inclusion in the region, which through its technology seeks to facilitate access to financial services for all people, especially young people in vulnerable situations. Its platform not only enables secure and efficient transfers, but also empowers users with tools to better manage their money and build a more stable future.
