The Asociación Española de Normalización y Certificación (AENOR) verified and validated Constructora El Salvador´s compliance with the requirements for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification under the international standard ISO 45001:2018.

This is the second accreditation the construction company has received two years after its creation in its efforts to drive the country’s development with modern schools, markets, healthcare units, hospitals, roads, revitalization of historic centers, underground cabling, and job creation nationwide.

At the end of june last year, it became the first private company in the construction sector in El Salvador to receive the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System certification, which offers “zero tolerance” for bribery.

With this new certification, the construction company undertakes the commitment to further protect the physical and mental integrity of more than 200 direct and 500 indirect employees on projects that are shaping development throughout the country.

It is official and objective confirmation that the requirements, processes, and protocols that protect the most important aspects have been met: safeguarding, preventing, training, and raising awareness among crews, collaborators, subcontractors, and communities near the construction sites to foster a culture of safety.

To date, Constructora El Salvador has executed and is developing more than 100 infrastructure projects, including markets, cemeteries, health units, hospitals, parks, schools, water wells, revitalization of historic centers, and road improvements, among others.
