The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) announces the third phase of its transparency indicators, incorporating information on the procurement processes for goods, works, services, and consulting services. This includes both procurements made within the framework of Bank-financed operations and institutional procurements necessary for CABEI’s operations.
With this initiative, implemented within the framework of the new Access to Information Policy, the Bank reaffirms its commitment to open management and strengthens its one-stop shop, which already includes more than 50 indicators and now offers detailed procurement data. This way, the public will have access to reliable, clear, and accessible information on how resources are used and how the Bank operates, consolidating transparency and accountability as pillars of its work serving regional development.

With this third phase of indicators, we reaffirm our commitment to transparency and accountability. By incorporating procurement information into our indicators window, we strengthen a unique tool that allows citizens, journalists, and researchers to understand and evaluate our management”, stated CABEI executive president Gisela Sánchez.
The director for Honduras and Chair of the Communications and Access to Information Committee, Belinda Carías Martínez, said: “These indicators are a key advance in transparency and accountability. They allow for an objective analysis of how procurement is managed and strengthen trust in our operations, promoting more open and closer management to society”.
This third phase allows for more precise monitoring of procurement, consolidating an environment of responsible, transparent, and trustworthy management.
