The “Lunes de Empleo” program, promoted by the Ministerio de Trabajo, has expanded significantly with the inclusion of high-level professional positions, such as gynecologists, internal medicine doctors, architects, and chemical engineers. This job placement program, which takes place in the 14 departmental locations, is designed to fill hundreds of vacancies in technical, administrative, and service areas, in addition to specialized profiles.
“Our “Lunes de Empleo” program is changing the lives of thousands of people”, said the minister of Labor, Rolando Castro, on his social media.
The job offer in the country seeks to provide comprehensive job placement, open to diverse groups, including single mothers, young people 18 years of age and older, adults 40 years of age and older, and people with disabilities, with no restrictions on age or experience in other positions.
The most In-Demand professional profiles
The focus on professional positions is complemented by a wide variety of technical and supervisory positions, highlighting the need for talent in the following areas:
• Health and Chemistry: gynecologists and internal medicine doctors, as well as chemical engineers.
• Construction and Projects: architects and project supervisors.
• Administrative and Technical: branch managers, station managers, marketing assistants, air conditioning technicians, and welding mechanics.
• Operations and Services: sales and credit advisors, packaging operations assistants, operational assistants, drivers, and warehouse assistants.
The program is open to those interested starting at 7:30 a.m. at any of the fourteen departmental offices. To apply for positions, the main requirement is to bring an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV). The institution’s staff will assist applicants.
