
The Consejo Superior del Trabajo, chaired by minister of Labor Rolando Castro, will resume its tripartite agenda this tuesday, october 14, 2025, with a new session dedicated to promoting dialogue between the labor, business, and government sectors.

During the meeting, representatives from each sector will address key topics aimed at strengthening labor relations and promoting the social and economic development of El Salvador. Key points include economic recovery, the transition of informal businesses to formality, export promotion, an extension of the period of union representation, professional development for human talent, the promotion of the National Employment Exchange, and the modernization of labor legislation to adapt it to current needs.

Important announcements are expected that will set the course for the country’s labor and economic development, generating a positive impact on political stability, social justice, and social peace. Through its agreements, the Council seeks to ensure a better quality of life for workers and a favorable environment for employers.
