The El Salvador International Airport was recognized with the Family Friendly seal, a certification that seeks to guarantee more inclusive, accessible and humane spaces for families entering and leaving the country. The distinction was presented this monday by the First Lady, Gabriela de Bukele, as part of an initiative aimed at strengthening the travel experience and promoting family tourism.
The certification recognizes the efforts made within the air terminal to adapt its services to the needs of families. Among the improvements implemented are play areas for children, breastfeeding rooms, exclusive lines for family groups and clearer and more accessible signage, elements that seek to offer more orderly and comfortable care from the first contact with the country.

During a tour of the facilities, the First Lady highlighted the role of the airport as a key space in the experience of those who travel. She said that it is the entry and exit door to the country, where important moments for many families converge, such as reunions, farewells or the beginning of new experiences.
Likewise, he explained that the Family Friendly seal identifies spaces, services and establishments that have decided to take an additional step to be truly family-friendly, with the aim of promoting family tourism and improving the perception of the country among national and international visitors.

The initiative also has an expansion focus. As announced, in the coming days this recognition will continue to be granted to other spaces in the national territory, especially in the context of the Holy Week season, one of the periods of greatest tourist movement in El Salvador.
With this certification, the El Salvador International Airport is positioned as a point of reference in the implementation of family-oriented services, reinforcing the strategy of offering more inclusive and quality experiences from the first contact with the country.
