The Comisión Nacional de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa (CONAMYPE), in coordination with FANTEL and the Instituto Nacional de Capacitación y Formación (INCAF), concluded the diploma program “Cosmetics and Hygiene Producers as Small Businesses,” an initiative aimed at strengthening the technical and business skills of entrepreneurs in this sector.
The training took place at the San Bartolo Cosmetics and Hygiene Plant in Ilopango and consisted of 11 hours of in-person instruction. A total of 29 participants successfully completed the training, acquiring knowledge that will allow them to improve the manufacturing, marketing, and development of cosmetics and hygiene products.
During the diploma program, participants received training on key aspects of running small businesses, including the appropriate infrastructure for these types of ventures, product manufacturing processes, labeling regulations, and the differences between health registration and marketing permits—essential elements for operating in accordance with current regulations.
As part of the program, a practical workshop was also held in which participants created a body splash, applying the knowledge acquired during the training sessions and strengthening their skills in producing these types of products.
The event concluded with the awarding of diplomas to the 29 participants, in recognition of their commitment demonstrated throughout the training process. Authorities emphasized that these types of initiatives contribute to improving entrepreneurs’ skills and generating greater opportunities for business growth.
With this diploma program, CONAMYPE, FANTEL, and INCAF reaffirm their commitment to strengthening salvadoran micro and small businesses, promoting technical training, innovation, and the development of ventures that contribute to boosting the national economy.
