The Banco Central de Reserva (BCR) announced the weekly schedule for its data collection teams, who will be conducting the Encuesta de Precios (IPC-CBA) and la Encuesta Económica in various municipalities across the country. The goal is to update key data for national economic analysis.

For the Encuesta de Precios, field teams will visit municipalities in the departments of La Libertad, La Paz, San Miguel, San Salvador, Santa Ana, and Sonsonate, including locations such as Antiguo Cuscatlán, Santa Tecla, Zacatecoluca, Apopa, Ilopango, Soyapango, Chalchuapa, and Sonsonate, among others.

The Encuesta Económica will be conducted in San Salvador, La Libertad, San Miguel, and La Paz, covering areas such as Antiguo Cuscatlán, Santa Tecla, Colón, San Miguel, and El Rosario.
These surveys are part of the technical work carried out by the BCR to gather information on prices, economic activity, tourism, and household conditions—essential inputs for developing official indicators and designing public policies.
The BCR reiterated its call for the public to cooperate with the properly identified surveyors and expressed its gratitude for the public’s support in strengthening the quality of national statistics.
