The Dirección General de Energía, Hidrocarburos y Minas (DGEHM) continues with its supervision work in gas stations throughout El Salvador. This day, the inspection teams went to the east of the country to verify compliance with the standards of quality and quantity of fuel at gas stations of the chains UNO Terminal and Boston Gas, located in the department of La Unión.
During these inspections, rigorous tests are carried out to ensure that the fuel distributed to salvadorans meets the required quality levels. Likewise, the inspectors check that the stations respect the official rates established by the institution, avoiding irregularities in the prices offered to the consumer.
The DGEHM emphasizes that this effort is part of an ongoing commitment to protect the rights of users and promote transparency in the energy sector. The inspections seek to ensure that salvadorans have access to high quality fuels, contributing to the efficient operation of their vehicles and, consequently, to road safety.
These actions are part of a comprehensive national monitoring program, which includes periodic visits to service stations in different regions of the country. In this way, the institution reaffirms its mission to guarantee the quality of energy supply and compliance with current regulations.
The DGEHM reiterates its commitment to work tirelessly to offer the Salvadoran population fuels that meet the highest standards of quality and fair prices, contributing to the welfare of users and the development of the country.
