The Ministry of Labor has informed that tomorrow an important meeting will be held with the different Occupational Safety and Health Committees (CSSO) of the public and private sector. The objective of this meeting is for the participants to work together to prevent occupational accidents.
During the event, tutorials, instructions and didactic material designed to strengthen preventive protocols in the workplace will be distributed. These actions seek to guarantee the health and safety of workers in the performance of their jobs.
The prevention of accidents and the welfare of the working class are key priorities in this meeting, reaffirming the commitment to the protection of life and integrity in the workplace.
Minister Rolando Castro highlighted the importance of fluid and effective communication between the committees and the Ministry, which will allow for more efficient intervention in the identification and prevention of occupational hazards.
“We are going to work very hard together, in a single vision, minimizing accidents in the world of work and we will also make efforts to one day be close to eradicating them”, said the minister. This approach is part of a “new era” for the Ministry of Labor, which prioritizes the welfare and safety of salvadoran workers.
Collaboration with the Occupational Safety and Health Committees is seen as a strategic measure to ensure the protection of the health and lives of all workers, a task that the Ministry is committed to strengthening. The prevention of occupational accidents, through the monitoring and enforcement of safety regulations, has become one of the fundamental pillars of the new approach of the Ministry of Labor.
This initiative is a step towards creating a safer and healthier work environment for all workers in the country, ultimately seeking to reduce, and possibly eradicate, workplace accidents in El Salvador.
