The Ministry of Finance informs that this saturday, november 30 will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and sunday, december 01 from 7:30 a.m. until midnight, to attend taxpayers who are still pending to apply for the Tax Amnesty.
The offices that will extend their services are located in the Complejo Tres Torres, first floor, Centro de Atención al Contribuyente (Ex Bolerama) and the regional offices of Santa Ana and San Miguel.
In these offices will be available the divisions of:
- Tax and Customs Debt Collection Division, where you can request payment in installments.
- Collection Division, offices of the Central Collector’s Office, where tax payments may be made.
- Internal Revenue Directorate, where you can update your passwords to file your tax return online.
The Express Attention Centers in the interior of the country will work normal hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 in the afternoon.
In addition, taxpayers may also file their pending returns virtually, through our online services www.mh.gob.sv
Salvadorans who are insolvent with the General Directorate of Internal Revenue, the General Directorate of Customs, the General Directorate of Treasury and the General Directorate of Transit have had 90 days to catch up, exempting themselves from interest, surcharges and fines, corresponding to obligations due until july 31, 2023.
With this extension of hours, the Ministry of Finance allows them to catch up with the Tax Administration.
